On February 23, 2013 my husband, children and I along with my nephew are participating in the Fight for Air Climb in Minneapolis MN. We will climb up 30 stories (60 flights or 660 steps) to help raise awareness and funds to fight lung disease. All proceeds benefit the American Lung Association. So, I need your help.
If you are a digital scrapbooker, then I have a deal for you. Make a donation (any amount) to my Fight for Air Fundraising page and I’ll give you this kit for free.
What do you need to do? Simply visit my fundraising page, make a donation by clicking on “support Jennifer”, then send me an email at email@example.com with a copy of your donation receipt. I’ll then email you the links.
Did you know lung cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in both men & women. However it is still the most common cause of cancer death. Asthma is a lung disease that makes breathing difficult for millions of Americans, both young and old. There is no cure for asthma, but the good news is it can be managed and treated so you can live a normal, healthy life. COPD, also known as emphysema and chronic bronchitis, is a very serious disease, and the third leading cause of death in the United States. The good news is that COPD is often preventable and treatable.
Influenza, or Flu, is a serious respiratory illness. It is easily spread from person to person and can lead to severe complications, even death. We ALL are at risk for getting and spreading the flu. Having the flu may keep you home from work or school. If you have asthma or other lung diseases, you are at higher risk of developing complications from the flu. Each year in the U.S., influenza and its related complications result in an estimated 226,000 hospitalizations and anywhere from around 3,000 to 49,000 deaths.
And as a thank you for supporting my family’s efforts in the Fight for Air, here’s a little freebie cluster frame that coordinates with the Silent Night kit. Just click on the image to download it.
